Over Summer 2015, the department organised 3 internships through our group. The interns were responsible for helping module coordinators increase diversity on first and second year syllabuses. Women and minority philosophers tend to be underrepresented on reading lists. It is important to make these groups visible and give them a platform. They are often overlooked despite being fully competent philosophers and excellent contributors to modern and contemporary debates. We commend the department’s commitment to diversity issues.
